I use this for painting and it works great. I know it's not the right app but for creating hand drawn comic squares the simplification is great. The measurements are correct and in line with my professional mechanical measurements and the thing easily withstood the impact of my backpack.

I purchased this template at the recommendation of Bonnie Hunter, a quilter. I've found this to be very useful for cutting triangles from strips and scraps to use in making half square triangles, flying geese, etc. I've found it necessary to apply some non-slip stickers to keep the template from moving while cutting, but I do this with most of my acrylic rulers and templates so it's not a problem.

I ordered this specifically for the Mystery Blanket as the leader said it would be extremely useful. There were no detailed packing instructions and I had never used an angled ruler before. It took me some time to figure out how to use this damn thing, but now that I know, I'm sure it will come in handy. I've since learned of an even easier way to cut and assemble the segments I need, but this thing will no doubt come in handy some other time in the future.
