WTB Horizon 650 x 47c Road TCS Tire: Superior Performance and Exceptional Durability for Unmatched Road Adventures Review

Incredibly durable road and off-road tire. I ride them on 27.5 inch mountain bike wheels attached to my Giant TCX to give me a great gravel bike experience. The tubeless kit was very light and provided a lot of off-road kilometers.

I got a new bike that had a pair of these tires on. They handle a lot better than the more typical 700 x 30c tire I had on my previous bike. At the same time, they even seem to have less rolling resistance! I bought them for a friend's bike and she loves them too.

I ride them with cameras just FYI. On the street they are just a bomb. com, but where they really shine and have noticed a big difference is on gravel and packed dirt. Virtually no drag compared to MTB tread patterns. I've ridden some pretty tough trails and roads full of rocks, curbs and other debris like glass and haven't hit a flat yet.

Generally a well made tire that handles the road very well when standing right and going straight in the middle of the road. Once you enter a corner they really shine as the different compounds seem to grip at different levels when you need to lean the bike and stay on the road. I bought these tires for my Traitor hiking touring bike. I mostly ride the bike on gravel and dirt and previously had Maxxis Happy Medium 700x42 tires. With those 700x42 tires mounted, the frame is maximized with no room for full fenders.
