X ACTO Commercial Electric Pencil Sharpener Review

I recommend watching X acto's video which has the specifications of the different sharpeners to help you decide which one you need. I tried this one because of the double spiral blades. And, wow, that's a beast, very big and heavy! So I think it has the best motor and will probably run for the next hundred years! In 2013 I paid $130 for this sharpener. When it works, it's very fast (and quite noisy) and works great with pencils of all shapes and sizes. As far as I know, if this is possible for crayons, it will void the warranty. Also when used to sharpen pencils with a decorative plastic foil, the foil will clog the cutter blades and you will need to remove the sheath to gain access for cleaning.
