Five stars! I bought these magnets to further secure the corners of the magnet covers for our ceiling fans so we don't lose heat in the attic during the winter. Oftentimes, these rectangular lids didn't fit snugly enough around the vents to prevent them from falling off. These little magnets solved this problem perfectly. They are strong and lock the lids securely. Very satisfied!

These magnetic discs are pretty darn strong, not strong enough to separate them but if you place them within 2 inches of each other they will attract. Two had broken off when I opened the box so these were unusable but the rest were fine (box of 70). Worth the money, used for many practical tasks. My Unique Use: I have a flag outside, I hang it from my eaves and the wind blows it up my gutters and gets stuck. Depending on what you use them for, they can be great. They are a little big and coarse. I painted mine black (because they aren't really black, more of an anthracite grey). I am using them for a weird art installation (15-0" paper work) so their looks are important to me. I've since found a MUCH smaller magnet that 1) doesn't need painting and 2) takes up a tenth of the surface area. So for my artworks they hold micro magnets which I think work better than these.
