This is a fairly simple soap cutter that I use to make homemade soap. The material lends itself to cutting smaller and softer materials and I wouldn't use it for anything too hard or in large quantities as I doubt it will hold up. It is convenient to use and hold.

This product didn't work for me, but it's my fault. If you plan on using it for Melt and Pour soap, think again! All wire cutters are NOT SUITABLE for melting and pouring soap. The soap is too hard. I can't help but try this cutter melting and pouring, and I barely break the surface of the soap every time; All I do with this cutter is smudge the surface. I bought these wire cutters to cut handmade soap to use with a wooden miter box made for the purpose. As other reviewers have pointed out, figuring out how to put it all together was a real hassle.
