Like the fit and feel but the durability is unacceptable

I'm a personal trainer and on my feet all day, I needed a minimal sandal to wear to work that didn't look like pool shoes. Xeros has filled this need. I like the look and feel but am very unhappy with their durability. I only wear them to work, on the rubberized floor, and train in them. I did a few short walks to build up my legs because there is little protection, which is what I wanted. My training wasn't aggressive and I didn't run at all. I bought them on October 14th, today is October…

Pros
  • XERO DROP SOLE FOR THE PERFECT FIT - The Xero Drop outsole offers a non-raised heel and low toe closure - this ensures proper posture, balance and agility for all - well-rounded performance
Cons
  • There are cons

I'm in love with Xero

I've been wearing Converse for a few years. All sorts of minor injuries started, I felt weak, and then a fracture, my big toe started bothering me. Well, at first I thought it was my problem, but then I heard about wide-toed shoes that were flat as balls. and decided to do some research which led me to Xero. Now I was a little worried about durability but after wearing these two weeks I came to some conclusions: 1.) These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. 2.) My legs already feel

Pros
  • COMFORTABLE SHOES FOR EVERYTHING FOR EVERYTHING. Whether you're running, trying a new trail, hitting the gym or slacklining, you'll love the Prio's combination of freedom and protection.
Cons
  • No idea

Great Running Shoe - Over-the-top Durability

Let me start by saying that I would buy these shoes again. However, I have some complaints which is why I am writing this review. I bought them for work. I work in the ER and work 12.5 hours a week. These shoes have worked great. What turns me on is that Xero shoes claim a 5,000 mile outsole guarantee and that "we don't expect you'll ever need that guarantee...". less than 1mm. The problem is that once you get to that point on the tread on clean rubber they become very slippery meaning this…

I have foot problems

When I was in my twenties, both my heels broke. I have a lifelong problem with shoes. When I found these flats I was in no rush to buy BC. I bought so many shoes thinking I would solve problems quickly. Well I ordered them and when they arrived my wife took them to the hospital the same day. I was released after breaking my hip. I notice immediately, even though I can't walk without a walker, that there's a big difference with flat shoes. For the next 3 weeks I just put on a pair of BC…

Pros
  • Rubber sole
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Better than Merrells and Vivobarefoot!

My wife and I started wearing minimalist sneakers 9 years ago after reading the book Born to Run. Then we started with Feiyue Kung Fu shoes. After 6 months our feet felt so strong that we decided to buy Xeroshoes 6mm running sandals - Xeroshoes was called "Invisible Shoes" at the time. We loved these sandals so much that we wore them everywhere for the next 4 years and eventually switched to their thinner (3mm) sandals. Then, when the Merrell Vapor Glove came out, we gave it a try and fell in…
