No complaints so far. The construction is very solid, the frames neatly packed. Went down to the post office and got the package. Installed in about 15 minutes and then picked up 2 kayaks as a Mother's Day gift. The 2 kayaks sit well on the racks and the straps were long enough to hold both and get them home safely.

The rack and accessories work well but I had issues with the length of the bolts installed on my A-pillar and the front and rear brackets being too short. The brackets are for a shorter car and I was trying to mount them on a van. I contacted the company and they gave me a $15 loan to buy smaller bolts and a longer line to make it work better. So you get a total of 5 stars for customer support.

Ford Edge. The screws were too long. My crossbar sits a little lower so I have to use shorter bolts. He would have easily left a dent in the roof. Also, my bars are skinny and not square so they don't fit well. I'll probably put a piece of foam rubber in between so it fits better and doesn't scratch my bars. good stand. I haven't used it yet but I will in a few weeks. Glad I tried installing it first.

Haven't fitted this product to my car yet but the parts seem to be well made and I love the rubber on the underside of the J shape. Overall I am impressed with the design of the product. I'm worried about the part you have to slip into the rest. It doesn't seem to be a tight fit so I'll call a plumber to make sure it's a tighter fit. Kayak holder is sturdy and easy to install. Although I had to use a cutting wheel to shorten the mounting bolts so they wouldn't scratch my car's roof. They are a bit long. As an extra measure, I also bought some small protective tabs to attach to the ends of the screws. When kayaks are on the rack, they keep them safe and secure. This product does not fit the roof rack well. Our trunk is round and our roof rack is square. He peeled the paint off the shelf. It was very difficult to load the big kayaks. The ropes provided were not suitable for large kayaks. To do this, we had to use additional fasteners. They are strong enough but I would have preferred two pairs of J hooks instead. With the movable arm in the vertical position, my kayaks cannot tip inwards. I set one up but when I load the second kayak from the other side it tips over the first. I need someone to stand on the other side with their hands up so they don't fall off until I buckle up. We have two 10ft plastic kayaks. They go VERY well with this shelf. The brackets included are excellent: two around the kayak on the roof rails and two ratchet brackets for the bow and stern. You'll probably need a line (I use parachute line) to make loops in the front and back ports of the kayak(s) to attach the ratchet hooks. Installation was easy. This stand is well designed and easy to install. Also, they have great customer service and answered my installation question the same day. My question was whether the metal plate would fit on my bars (see photo), this seemed wrong to me as the metal bracket has a notch in the middle resulting in a tight contact point with my metal bars.
