Not what I expected

I've wanted to wait until I've fixed all the problems this phone has but I keep finding new problems with it. I got it today and am already having trouble connecting to the service, calls drop out and say no mobile data is available, it doesn't even connect properly to the wifi and to top it off, part of the charger and won does not charge quickly / does not charge properly. .Overall it was a complete letdown, it was a gift for my husband and I was just so annoyed about it. Don't waste your…

Reliable phone and great value, works with strait talk

This is great value for what you get here. It's the perfect phone for everyday use: large screen, fast response time, good fingerprint scanner and micro SD card slot for expansion. If you don't play on your phone, I don't see why you need more. I live in the US and have had no problems (Strait Talk service). Anyone who complains that it is "not US compatible" is wrong. This is a GSM phone (T-Mobile and AT&T), NOT a CDMA phone (Sprint and Verizon), check what your carrier uses before purchasing.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Useless features

A great smartphone without putting your wallet at risk.

The device is impressive for the money you pay although there are some downsides as opposed to buying a high end device like Apple, Samsung, LG etc. You get amazing performance, good ones Image quality and a decent battery life, screen resolution and other features like a fingerprint sensor. It's certainly not perfect though, I had some issues backing up data, but it can be fixed with some basic fixes. For less than $200, you can easily fool anyone who doesn't know anything about this brand and

Why bother with expensive flagship phones?

First of all this phone works unlike another review in the US. I use Mint Mobile and have 4G LTE in New York State, Chicago and Seattle. Even on back roads where I didn't have a signal with the sprint towers, I have more now. Other than that, I love this phone. I've been using a Galaxy S7 since 2015 and the difference between the two is day and night. Apps load quickly, I can fly my drone with peace of mind, and Android 9 (and Android 10 is coming soon) is packed with new features. Disable…

  • Hard to say

I bought this phone to work with a basic SIM card in different countries. I've been using it for more than a month, it has served its purpose. but on the other hand, I feel some problems with the phone, such as B. the heating of the battery. I am also uploading a screenshot. This shows the battery is fine, but I've noticed that it's getting warm. I feel this a lot, especially on video calls. The battery takes two hours and ten minutes to fully charge from zero to one hundred. the camera is…

It worked for a while

I've been using it for a few months and all of a sudden the GPS turns off and I can't use the apps that are using it. As a mobile phone for everyday use, it is currently more or less useless. Although the phone was fully functional, it wasn't bad. For the price I got the expected performance and it was decently fast. The camera is more than ok and the fingerprint sensor works surprisingly fast. But I am very disappointed in his failure. The WiFi connection is also pretty useless as it always…

One of the best budget phones!

This phone is amazing! The cameras are good, the speakers are loud, the display is clear. There is nothing to complain about with this phone. I use Cricket (which uses AT&T) and the phone works really well with LTE data. Bluetooth products such as wireless headphones/earbuds and smartwatches will work with this product. Android Auto also works perfectly. My only complaint is that the Fitbit Versa 2 doesn't receive text notifications, only phone calls. Air Pods work but may not reach their full…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Using this phone was as easy as inserting my carrier's SIM card and turning the phone on. Redmi OS is instantly familiar to anyone familiar with Android. The bad (read: slightly annoying): It has virus issues, like many Mi and Xiaomi apps, which are useless to me as a North American. Intermittent advertisements when you want to play something in Mi Music Player. More tech-savvy people can apparently handle it. The GPS has occasional glitches (can't tell which direction you're looking on Google…

  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I have no complaints about it, everything is fine

Great phone for the price

I bought a Redmi Note 8 to replace my Essential PH-1. A few reasons I bought the Note 8: - Big, bright screen, no top bezel - Unlockable bootloader (more on that later) - Decent camera - Under $230 Pros: - The screen is very bright and can be used a lot when needed getting dark. The colors are great. The camera is very good for the price. It has four different cameras (normal, wide-angle, macro, ultra-wide-angle). I haven't tested it in dark conditions, but it shows more detail than any other…
