Very useful hand building tool

This rib is very handy for hand building, with two tooth sizes. A very good quality. The shape is well designed to fit different surfaces.

Pros
  • Used for various materials such as hard leather, water and oil based clay, Sculpey and Fimo polymer clay, wax and plaster.
Cons
  • Some bugs

Large Rib Set

I used these ribs to form small china bowls that fall off the hump and they do the job perfectly. I wish they were less expensive but they work very well.

Pros
  • 4A Serrated Rib, approx. 5.2" x 1.7"
Cons
  • Quick Instructions

Corrugated Rib

Good shape and fine teeth for notching and connecting boards. Difficult. with a little twist. I don't think I'll ever use it for anything other than hand building. Lasts after 4 months of daily/weekly use

Pros
  • Xiem Stainless Steel Clay Ribs are flawless, flexible and the finest stainless steel cutlery ribs available.
Cons
  • Long delivery time
