The Best Seasoning is Post

If you have a wooden indoor humidor, do not attempt seasoning with this product. You'll get tired of leaving If you carefully season the wood with distilled water or seasoned cloths (also available) to ensure your humidor maintains the desired level of humidity THEN use this product for long-term maintenance and you will be more than satisfied with the results. When purchasing this product, purchase additional glycol to regenerate the bullets when they run out. Easy and uncomplicated

Good device in humidifiers

They recommend using Propylene Glycol as the water can easily contain bacteria that will ruin your entire collection. This is a great way to convey the humidity in your humidor. I have a small shoebox size Thompson Cigar. I think I fill it out every 2-3 months, including a check-up once a week. Definitely recommend. The black grid is a bit tricky to put on, but luckily I don't have to fill it in too often. The grid is good, if you hit it nothing falls out.

Installed and forgotten: heating, cooling and air quality

I've been using this type of moisture balls for a few years now. They are easy to use and need to be refilled about once a month depending on the temperature and humidity in your home. They're easier to use than older foam humidifiers, and with a PG solution, you don't have to worry too much about mold. So it's a win-win situation and my cigars are grateful to you. FYI, pay more attention to your cigars and less to your hygrometer. In general, the higher the temperature, the less humidity youโ€ฆ

Works well. on Humidifier

Works well. Humidity is kept at 68-69%, but I usually keep 2 packs of Boeveda in my humidor as well. After filling with 100% distilled water I noticed that the crystals on the outside of the packaging had puffed up and lifted the top of the vent. You may want to fill about 1/8 to 1/4 of the crystals kept in reserve first and add a little after the first fill if needed. But keep in a safe place, if it's silica you don't want animals or children ingesting it. From what I've read there is aโ€ฆ

So far, so good. fits humidifier

I bought these to provide humidification in several fridges to deal with overflowing cigars from the humidor cabinet. In each of the 3 coolers I have this 4 ounce can of Xikar combined with a Xikar cigar humidifier (for a 250 cigar humidor) with a magnetic humidifier. The coolers are 48 liters and the 2 units together provide a constant humidity level of 68% to 70% each. I use a PG solution to charge it and check the level about every 2 weeks. My only concern is the dark spots on the gel, which
