This is a preamplifier NE5532 board and it can replace 4558, LM833, LT1057, AD827, OPA2604.... Magnify sound by 5 times,suitable for some low-sensitivity sound sources, it is an essential artifact for improving volume and sound quality. Adopting double-panel design, the circuit board is routed on both sides, which has strong anti-interference ability and effectively reduces the current sound caused by circuit interference. The power supply voltage is wide, and the voltage range is DC: 6V-30V, which can work normally. The magnification is adjustable, and only need to replace R5 and R6 to increase the magnification to 10 times.

I love these brick preamps!

Win set at 5. So not much win, but you get a huge win (25X) when you cascade the pair. I put a volume control between a couple of them to make a really nice little preamp. If you need a moderate boost (5X), get it. If you need a lot of reinforcement, buy a pair. Two for nine bucks if they're good.

Nice little preamp

I made an extra input adapter for my car radio but it wasn't loud enough. Added this to the system between the jack and the radio and now the levels are almost perfect. Works great with unfiltered 12V automotive power, no alternator hiss or ground loop issues. The sound quality is good.

Perfect. Exactly what I needed and didn't have to build it myself. I bought two. Only one was needed but a second was needed and I ordered two more. Beautifully finished with all Suface mounts but this makes them difficult for the user to modify. No documentation or schematics were included. But I got confused when I found a diode on the board. It turned out that this was placed at the input of the power supply to protect against incorrect power connections. I couldn't get all the details andโ€ฆ
