I mounted my bottle on a rack behind my seat as my Sondors MXS didn't come with the usual mounts. Since he was behind me, I wanted to make sure the bottle was tight. The thing does its job. Just use a bottle with the right cavity and you won't drop the bottle.

You know I've paid a lot of money for the 'best' cages (and the XLAB mount) on the market - they look great on my bike! - still with patches on soft road conditions; two bottle launchers within 105 miles of the road. (yes I have insulated xlab bottles too). Didn't come back but was hoping for better results.

Water bottle holder works great on my TT rack. No ejection problems. However, note XLab's recommendation that water bottles with notched necks provide a secure hold in the cage. Water bottles larger than 20 ounces may not fit as securely without a cutout of the appropriate height. My only complaint is that the seller originally sent the wrong color, but Revain was quick to replace it.
