The XLAB Raptor water bottle holder is a game-changer for cycling enthusiasts. My analysis of this product showed that it is incredibly lightweight, durable, and easy to install on any bike. The only downside is that it doesn't easily accommodate larger water bottles, but the tradeoff is worth it for the added stability. love the fit and finish. It has good grip without feeling too stiff. I mounted it on the down tube and everything is great there. It'll probably be strong enough for a seat tube or handlebars, but I'm not sure it's grippy enough for a seat.

Looks cool, but Raptor Talons are brittle and won't hold up to bottles. Even if you break the original blacks, there is no black substitute. It's also not easy to put bottles in this bottle holder and bottles can get stuck in the middle before falling off and sitting properly. Suitable for everyday cycling when you have time to look down and insert and remove bottles with care, but not recommended for competitive use. Stick with the trusted E brand bottle cages.
