I installed mine on January 1st 2017 and I have been using it at least once a day and still working since 03/01/2020 it died 3 years 2 days. The one star photos I've seen show most were installed incorrectly. You must allow the entire hose to rotate when you tighten the shower hose or it will stall as shown in some photos. I bought this in April to make dog bathing easier. Less than 3 months passed, like in the garbage. It looks nice, but the construction is very cheap. The metal lid came off at one end and the inner hose burst this morning, squirting water all over the tub before I turned the water off. The length is great and the optics are ok. But if you're going to use it (and why else would you buy that long hose) then look elsewhere.

The product arrived on time, the PERFECT length and installed with no problems. We have just come back from camping, this trip is our first time using an inner tube. Apparently the rubber in the stainless steel pipe has burst due to dripping from the shower head. I thought it was a bad connection but it's not. Received this hose yesterday (09/14/2015). I used it for the first time today. The first time I used this hose it ripped apart. Photos show damage. The hose wasn't pulled or tugged, I rinsed my hair out when I felt it starting to exfoliate. I noticed the first untangling at the very top near the shower head. As a result, the entire hose spread. Good product for the price. It works as described and is fairly flexible (can form a 3" circle when coiled). My complaint and reason for the 4 stars is due to the connection of the metal tube with the fittings at the end. They are loosely screwed in at the ends, with three or four turns of the metal tube it will fall out and slide down the black rubber inner tube.
