DO NOT BUY THIS. THIS IS NOT K-TYPE.

This product incorrectly advertises a Type K thermocouple. I did not receive a Type K thermocouple. It's either a T or a J and won't work either way with the included MAX6675. The MAX6675 looks like a regular stamp, but doesn't work with the included thermocouple. Don't waste money.

Works well. Even pretty accurate.

The product is working properly. The reading at 1/2 second interval fluctuates around 0.75°C. But the average is accurate on my Fluke 54. The grub screw on my sensor is 6mm. Warning: Arduino users: DO NOT use the Adafruit library with this. That does not work. Use the Spi hardware library called "MAX6675 Thermocouple", it appears in the default library manager. I suspect these were some of the issues encountered by other negative reviewers.

Bought two, but only one works

I need two entrances for my project. One thermocouple board works, the other doesn't. I swapped out the wiring and the problem stayed with the BOARD. I changed the sensors and the problem stayed with the BOARD. One of the two BOARDS is defective. Also, one of the thermocouple wires isn't properly connected to the spade connector, when I move it the signal goes to either "NAN" (no signal) or the maximum, indicating a complete burnout of the scale. The spade tips have been removed and connected…
