These work perfectly! However, always err on the side of leaving the laces too long. So far they are great. The tie laces on my Cole Haan wouldn’t stay tied. I got these, Glow-in-the-dark and they keep my shoes comfortably snug. I’m glad I got the round laces, as the holes weren’t very big and the flat would never have fit. I don’t have really strong hands, so I needed to use pliers to snap the End Clips.Also, if like me, you want to adjust where the End Clips are there is a video under FAQ on their homepage that shows you how.

The instructions that come with this product are tiny and incomplete. They need to print words and pictures on a full-size sheet of paper and then make sure that the average person can follow them. This paper should be folded up and put inside the little product pouch.

Takes a bit to get used to, but they are superior to usual laces. I use them on my mephisto walking shoes. These easy to install laces are perfect for my grandson who loves to have his shoes tight. Velcro closures weren’t tight enough and wouldn’t stay closed. He’s able to pull these as tight as he needs and lock them himself. It’s so nice not having to stop every third step so he can tighten a Velcro strap. Excellent quality and durability

I don't know if these would work for runners who cover a lot of miles, but they are just perfect for those of us who switch shoes going in and out. I keep these on several of my indoor pairs as they make them easier to use and less likely I'll not change when going out on wet, or salty or dirty drives. Amazing! I have been using elastic laces on most of my shoes, and have tried all the different types. These just became my favorite! I just got these for my new pair of "INOV-8 Bare-FX 210 V2 sneakers” and, other than secure grip and a lock that does not slip, (which by the way, the lock on these by far outperforms the competition) it was very important for me that the lock mechanism is as flush with the shoe as possible for rope climbing exercises, and sure enough, this lock stays on and stays

I didn't think they would work well on my big logging style boots and felt they would feel a little loose but you can't tell the difference from laces. It requires a good tug to get them on but pop off easily at the end of the day. I love 'em.

One of the little snaps to secure the ends was broken and didn't work at all. I thought about returning them, but I figured I could just double-knot the laces right out of the last eyelet on each side and they'd work fine that way. It's just not worth using the extra bits in the packages since they don't work.

Product arrived quickly. The only issue I have with these laces is that they are about half the thickness of a normal shoe lace. I have not yet put them on my shoes, but I am going to try them. The concept is a good one, I just don't like how thin they are.

These are easier to install than the ones with the magnets. The only thing that would be nicer would be for the locks to be a color closer to the color of the shoe string or at least not a black color for a brown or sand color shoe string.

I bought this because I liked the color of the laces, but I didn't expect to have to deal with the debatable quality of the lace snaps and the type of what are normally pressure snaps. Maybe I'm just "old-fashioned", but I went out and bought new hardware. Love the laces.

I've been using Xpand laces for years, and these new (to me) round versions are the best yet! I have a set on a pair of Timberland Pro Flex work sneakers, and they are absolutely perfect. No more stopping to tie the ridiculously long laces that came with the shoes; just slip them on and they're set for all day comfort.

When pulling tight with moderate pressure as you need to do, one lace came out of the plastic end. Very hard to open again to secure the lace. Ended up using a flame to melt the plastic to create a hard seal so the lace would not come out again. Take care when pulling tight, you are better off holding the laces not the plastic end.Update from 2 to 5 stars. 6/4/22 Company posted replacement newer plastic end. Works really well now. Buying another set.

This lacing system is easy to use from setup to actual use. Once installed the xpand laces stay snug and keep your feet in the shoes like they are tied. No issues with slipping or being too tight. Its really a set it and forget it type of solution.

Bought these for my golf shoes. Easy on/off while standing. Stays fit, but can tighten if needed. Bought for my dress shoes too.

Love these laces! This is second pair for my sons shoes. We love the variety of colors to choose from. Easy to lace up and install the end clasp. Simple picture directions easy to follow. Do suggest leaving a bit longer for a comfortable fit after wearing a day or two. These keep a good tight fit and don’t stretch out over time.

The laces fit perfectly on my new walking shoes. To more easily attach the top piece that covers the shoe lace ends, place the trimmed shoe lace ends over a lit match, about 3 to 4 inches above the flame, for a second to melt the frayed ends. Just a second will do! Be careful! This will leave a nice, smooth end to the laces. They will fill well into the end piece if you do this. Obviously, the laces must be all polyester/synthetic fabric.
