The original remote stopped working after a few years. This replacement worked right out of the box but started falling apart within 2 months. It was a little annoying, but it's pretty easy to put back together. Stops working after 4 months of use. I do not recommend buying this product. You get what you pay for.

I have ordered two of these devices in the last 6 months. My original remote was lost and while this has worked flawlessly for years, these replacements are still having problems a few months later. Both have trouble responding to the OK button and down arrow, so much so that I can't use the TV's smart features.

Bought to replace my Vizio D50-D1 Vizio TV. That distance didn't work at all on my TV. I don't know if my particular remote was faulty or what the problem could be as it certainly seems others have had success. I suspect it's just a fake from a third party party hoping people will be too lazy to return it for the $6 it's worth. Purchase at your own risk.

My remote control is no longer stable. Tried everything, new batteries. Turning on and off the remote, TV, etc. Nothing worked. I was hoping to solve the problem with a remote, inexpensive solution. Yes! Works perfectly. I hope it doesn't spoil after 9 months like the original, it gets annoying. By the way, not much used TV. Sometimes daily, sometimes for weeks. Really happy the resolution was cheap but upset that there were any issues at all after only 9 months of light to moderate use.

The remote works great with our 12 year old Visio TV, unfortunately I have small children and even when I try to hold the remote up they still manage to to get her. Shortly after 7 months I noticed the volume button was flying around in the living room. Then the channel button went off. The remote still works great but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with small children, the risk of using the button is too high. I'll look into a new design in hopes the buttons will be better protected.

This is the second remote of this type to fail in less than 6 months! It should be "new", but you can tell that this remote control has been disassembled and reassembled several times! It wasn't "NEW". And only lasted a couple of weeks and then realized the collapse. Extreme disappointment with this product, waste of money. And of course, returning it isn't even worth the $7 hassle. So you get a cheap product because most people won't fight for that amount.

Same style remote control as my TV. When it broke I bought it as a replacement. It's terrible. My fingers hurt from having to navigate with the middle cursor. Finding Netflix/Revain takes 10 minutes and sometimes it's not worth it. It takes forever to get to a letter and when I finally get to that letter I have to press the button so hard, then wait, then press again and wait. That's ridiculous. Something is clearly wrong with the mechanism of the remote control.

Vizio is what it is. The remote control is tricky to use as it needs to be aimed precisely at the part of the TV that picks up the signal. We don't have any obstacles, but we constantly get up and go to the TV to make it work. This is the 3rd controller in 3 years and all 3 are the same and work the same so it's not the fault of the retailers it's the fault of the manufacturers.
