Pretty dang close to a Yheti but half the price. )'( approved

Pretty impressed with this cooler. We used it for Burning Man. (100+ degrees for 8 days). It is super rugged and tough. Definitely didn't worry about it leaking or people standing on it. It stayed cold better than I expected. We needed ice about every 2-3 days with this one. The "regular" Coleman $30 cooler needed ice every day.Heads up; It's pretty heavy and has no wheels. It could probably could go 6-7 days if you follow all the tricks. (pre-chill, keep it off the ground, in the shade, freeze…

Pros
  • I love it but it is very very heavy. I cant carry it empty. It would be wonderful with wheels
Cons
  • The insulation isn't very good.

I like this cooler quite a bit. Seems very sturdy. Haven't thrown it out of a pick-up at 60 mph or anything, but it's built very well. For my purposes, the functional equivalent of the yeti at a lower price. However, the inside interior front wall of the cooler "bowed" away from whatever insulation it was attached to (Please see photos). So.hasn't seemed to affect functionality; but I'm not sure that it bodes well for the long-term durability of the item (I've only owned it for 4 months). By…

Pros
  • Awesome! Badass cooler for half the price of a YETI....I will be buying another
Cons
  • Can be difficult to maneuver over rough terrain

For those who want a wire basket source

Since my XSPEC 60 QT. cooler did not come with a basket (dry goods shelf), I did some research and bought this (Igloo Wire Basket- 128-165 Quart, Black) off of revain and it fit well. Although it covers more than half of the top of the cooler, what I like is that I can put a 12 pack carton of eggs in to longways. Just thought it would save some of you the hassle since another recommendation (Nice CKR-512207 Cooler Rack 75 qt) which is smaller, seems to be out of stock at the time of this…

Pros
  • Used it for camping in 113 degree heat, kept ice like a champProbably last a lifetime
Cons
  • It does not keep ice as stated.

Difficult Latches for my opinion

Just received this but haven't used it yet. Definitely heave as others have pointed out. 32lbs i believe. What I did notice right away is the uncomfortable latch releases. The release doesn't give you much more than two fingers worth of grip and the edges of the release aren't very beefy or rounded. Consequently releasing the latches can put painful pressure on your fingertips. I don't think my wife will be able to release these when fully latched. Once we get to a campsite I'll probably have to

Pros
  • Very nice works will
Cons
  • Bulky shape makes it difficult to store in closets or indoors

Well-built and I can tell the difference in cold maintenance.

This thing is sturdy, great capacity, held the cold quite well. We filled it about halfway with block ice plus three nalgenes that we froze in the freezer. That is a good trick since once they melt you can drink the water. The thing held ice for almost 5 days down in Baja with no ice addition, and our fresh veggies and milk and butter were as happy as our beers. We just tried not to open it very much. We did a 7 day trip in Baja with only one ice fill up on day 5. The handles are also very…

Pros
  • Its roto-molded construction makes it incredibly durable and resistant to impact, ensuring that it will survive any rough conditions you might encounter
Cons
  • Heavy design and multiple handles may make it difficult to load into vehicles

Nailed it! - my new review

Save your money on a Arctic or Yetty because this is just as good. I've had ice in it for about a week! Great product Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Perfect. Excellent quality.Better than I could have hoped for.
Cons
  • Doesn't come with accessories like a bottle opener or cup holder

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Almost perfect. good for me

It does it's job really well. My only wish is that it wasn't so danged HEAVY! Without anything in this, it is already heavy. Once you add ice and food or drinks.YIKES!

Pros
  • Great cooler. Very heavy.
Cons
  • Limited color options may not suit everyone's taste

MEASUREMENTS ARE NOT CORRECT! >:-/

Great build quality. Awesome hinges and latches. But the measurements given are NOT accurate! I bought this because it said 17” wide. and my cabinet has about 17.3” of clearance. Fantastic! So I thought. But instead the little pointy piece where you open it sticks out another inch! It measures 18” and will NOT fit on my slide out. While this is disappointing, I will just have to move this one to the back of my camping trailer, and get a smaller cooler for my slide. No biggie really. because you

Can’t complain - my new review

This cooler is NICE . We used it all day kept every ice cold ! Literally filled it with ice in the morning and never had to refill it we still had plenty of ice never melted. Very pleased we gave it a try.

Pros
  • Pre cool it first kept ice for five days
Cons
  • May have a chemical smell from the manufacturing process

Worthwhile purchase!

We tool this on a 6-week cross country trip and was happy we did! Saved money on ice. It really does keep food and drinks cold a lot longer than a typical cooler. A worthwhile purchase!

Pros
  • Huge cooler. Great price!
Cons
  • No warranty against damages caused by misuse or abuse

Heavy Duty for my opinion

Everything about this cooler is amazing. It is really heavy duty, very solid construction. This thing will stand up to years of use.

Pros
  • This cooler is a great investment for outdoor enthusiasts who want a high-quality product that will last for years to come
Cons
  • Rigid design doesn't allow for adjustment to cater to different outing types

Great buy. Cheaper than Yeti.

Always struggled keeping ice in our cooler while camping. Makes for some nasty food towards the end of the trip. This cooler kept ice throughout the weekend and kept all of our food fresh and cold.

Pros
  • Love it
Cons
  • Costs more than traditional camping coolers made from plastic

Add an inch to the dimensions if have a desired spot

I like the product. Dimensions are a little bigger than listed . It would not fit spot on my boat that I wanted. But decided it was such a good deal compared to other rotomolded coolers that I was going to keep it.

Pros
  • 60 Quart large size, with the capacity of up to 40 cans with a recommended 2:1 ice-to-contents ratio. Or holds up to 50 Lbs of ice.
Cons
  • Heavy duty design may not be necessary for all camping trips or outdoor activities

Works great: my feedback

The latch system could be improved. It seems like that will be the first to fail. Holds ice for days. Works better when kept full.Overall a nice cooler.

Pros
  • The four built-in cup holders make it easy to enjoy a cold drink with friends or family, without worrying about spilling or knocking over your beverage
Cons
  • Limited availability through traditional retailers, only available online

Better than Coleman cooler!

Great product at great price. Filled with ice and beverages for 5-day camping trip in moderate (40s-50s) temps, everything stayed cold for the duration. Slower ice melt and tighter seal than Coleman Extreme. Would recommend for avid campers and backyard BBQs.

Pros
  • The non-slip feet on the bottom of the cooler keep it firmly in place, even on uneven or slippery terrain
Cons
  • Heavy duty design may be overkill for some camping or outdoor activities

High quality cooler, highly recommend

Incredible product for fraction of price of other brands. Took it fishing and it's all around better than any others of the same size. Impressive.

Pros
  • So for so good. Kept ice for 7 days. Drain doesn't leak. Dig the latches.
Cons
  • Lacks additional storage compartments for accessories

Well-built and effective cooler at a reasonable price

I've been using this cooler for over a month now as outdoor storage for beverages and food at our cottage. As advertised, ice will last for 5 days although most of it is very cold water on Day 5. Temperatures are typically in the 75-85 degree range during the day and the cooler is located on deck which receives 8-9 hours of direct sun. This past week we've had several days in the 90s and the cooler performed quite well even in the high heat and humidity.Overall, the cooler is very well built…

Pros
  • Extra thick roto-molded insulation body & lid with UV protection surface. Dry ice compatible. Provides same or better durability and performance as the leading brands for a fraction of the cost.
Cons
  • Lacks additional protective features, like a built-in lock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This works! good for me

We just used this at a family get together at our off grid cabin. Using cold bricks, and with people getting stuff out off & on, the cooler kept food cold for 4 days in 80+ temps. Some of the cold bricks still had frozen centers! I was impressed.

Pros
  • Camping & Hiking
Cons
  • Cooler may expand or contract with significant temperature changes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ok product. good for me

Good thick walls, locks great durable for sure. Does not hold ice as long as proclaimed. 2 days maybe 3 if you freeze gallon jugs as block ice. Cubed a day day and a half.

Pros
  • The Xspec 60 Qt XL Roto Molded High Performance Camping Cooler is an excellent value, offering premium features at an affordable price point
Cons
  • Cooler may require additional insulation for use in certain weather conditions

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice! Works well in my review

Very well made and thought out ice chest. Nice details like non skid feet and good rubber seal and latches. Ice has lasted four days in 95 degrees.Could not ask much more

Pros
  • ‎Camouflage
Cons
  • Limited information about the coolers environmental impact
