Not fitted yet but small springs, idk clips? They just fold over instead of snapping in place to keep the strap from falling off the hook. I'll heat treat them to try and make them more resilient.

Very solid and great looking on my Tacoma. I wanted to add some strong hooks to the front of my Tacoma. You look fantastic, just what I was looking for. The finish is nice but light enough to be touched up after a few years if necessary.

Looks good, they're really easy to mount in line, but the mounting screws are too short. I had to use factory screws that I removed. I also have snags because after replacing the bumper, the factory ones didn't fit.

I needed hooks for my tractor bucket so naturally I went to Revain.com and looked for it. Not only was what I found very cheap, but I got TWO of them for the price of one. Took about 10 minutes to install and voila, now I'm ready to lift heavy loads safely with my bucket. Large selection and great price.

I was surprised that something like this wasn't cheaper. I needed hooks to raise the dock when I needed maintenance or to protect it from low tide. Locally, I could only find one of them at a local off-road truck shop. I needed four. They fit perfectly, except I had to replace the screws with longer ones. Keep in mind that the bolts are metric, although the threads appear to be SAE.

The X strap says it is a 10,000lb tow hook. It says right on the box not to use it with a workload over 3500lbs. My single cabin Ranger short bed weighed 4,000 pounds. What could you use it with? they say, but this hook is forged. I suspect it's casting. When I emailed Strap X about this hook, they replied that I was talking about a £10,000 strap. I emailed the person, explained the error and asked about their tow hooks. Then the person answered me again and talked about the strap. The English…
