If it works - great. unfortunately this is not reliable. It "freezes" often, either it won't switch between PCs or the keyboard and mouse will freeze. Sometimes the video does not connect. The documentation consists of a "Quick Guide" so small that you need a microscope to read it. Any details are missing. The device emits several tones that clearly indicate errors, BUT THEY ARE NOT DEFINED ANYWHERE. ALSO THERE IS NO PRODUCT SUPPORT. THE COMPANY CANNOT BE CONTACTED

Firstly not all cables were included in the box - I needed two USB Type B (used for printer cables) which the manual says must be included per step 5 of the hardware installation guide. You will also need an extra HDMI cable (KVM to monitor) so you can add it to your cart if you don't already have one! It works, but I don't recommend buying it. Often does not shift when a button is pressed. Hotkeys do not work with Chromebooks/Chromeboxes. Beeps at random times, which is incredibly annoying and there's no way to stop it (without muting it). I have a Mac Mini, a Windows PC and a Chromebox connected to it. update 3.12. has completely stopped switching between inputs.

This device does not work for a long time, could not switch. When this worked, the video would change, but the mouse/keyboard wouldn't work for at least 60 seconds, sometimes not at all. After 24 hours the device stopped working. Switching the mouse and keyboard did not help, there was always a delay after switching from one computer to another. I do not recommend this product, I sent it back for a refund.

At first the mouse or keyboard just wouldn't switch, you had to unplug it and plug it back in. Then it stopped switching altogether. The ratings are pretty random so you might get a good one or need to replace it.
