Buy now! on car electronics

I've done car audio for a lot of cars for a long time and I'll tell you this Mercedes I'm doing in 2002. I just got a lot of alternator whine. New alternator new it's a new patch cord I grounded all 3 times still had a home for it worth the money thank goodness

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Almost never

No use stopping my hum

I bought this product because of the hum generated between the active crossover and the amplifier. After installing this product, the results were very disappointing. There was no sound enhancement or hum reduction that I bought this for. I ended up buying a Rolls HE18 Hum Eliminator which completely eliminated the ground loop and finally gave me the quiet background I was looking for. I returned XtremPro for a refund.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Discontinued

Works great for erasing audio noise.

I use them to turn off the sound on my retro game consoles. They don't seem to go well with my new soundbar. The audio hum was too annoying at medium to high volumes. Using this filter helped reduce the audio noise significantly to the point that it was barely noticeable. It also cleaned up the audio signals. My soundbar seems to interpret audio signals better and produce a richer sound.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Excellent ground loop isolator.

Great little audio isolator. Always keep them handy in case of ground loop problems. Well done little block. Like all transformer type taps, they solve ground loop problems very well. The metal housing even provides shielding. Note, however, that lower subsonic bass frequencies are somewhat ignored. Therefore, do not use them with subwoofers that operate in the subsonic range. This requires an active ground isolator that allows infrasound to pass through.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I will buy this next time

I have a receiver in one room and a second receiver in another room. I measured a significant voltage difference between the output of one and the input of the other. It was a classic ground loop. From this difference, I learned that one of the outlets wasn't even grounded. This product isolated devices even if a device was not grounded. No hum, no noticeable signal loss, no change in frequency response. The only voltage measured is what should be present at the RCA jack. Both outlets are now…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Crumpled

It worked! for multi-channel amplifier

I connected a PC to a home theater and for some reason there was a buzz when playing games. I've narrowed it down to my subwoofers producing sound. After trying a few things such as B. Changing where I plugged everything in and getting a better extension cord, I started looking for answers. Luckily I stumbled across this product and a review here that describes exactly this scenario. Placing this product between my receiver and subwoofer (Crown X3000) completely solved the problem! I don't know

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Very expensive

I fixed my ceiling speakers with Dolby Atmos!

I was experiencing a slight hum/crackle in the audio coming from the overhead speakers in my home theater. I spent months researching and rewiring, even adding a separate clean ground wire out in the yard that connected to a ground rod, the loft, and the outlet that my AV system also plugs into. Also for power conditioner/surge protector. I also hooked up the chassis from my AV receiver to an amplifier for the ceiling speakers and that just calmed it down a bit. Then I tried it as a last resort

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Lots

Good product! suitable for car audio

I had an issue where my subwoofer was making a loud annoying humming noise when playing video games on my gaming PC. My subwoofer was connected to my receiver via an LFE subwoofer cable, my PC was connected to my TV via HDMI 2.0, and my TV was connected to my receiver via HDMI (ARC). I've tried everything to fix the problem, including plugging the subwoofer, PC and receiver into different (and the same) outlets, trying different subwoofer cables, etc. Nothing worked. Ordered this pup and bam…

Pros
  • Handsfree
