Installs in the console of my 2006 Toyota 4Runner next to the Aux in jack. It looks like he's always been there. I like that the outlets light up when the power is on. I can use it to charge my ipod and phone.

Very practical charging connector. Bought to mount on a motorcycle. The only problem I had was that I requested a white LED and received a blue one. But it's okay, I would do without an LED backlight. I can't see where it is.

First, it will be larger than the standard cigarette lighter hole in American cars. A little filing or sanding with a dremel will do the trick. Just go slow and test often. After that, the nut sits snugly on the back and holds it firmly in place.

Easy to install and works great. I installed it in my daughter's 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle. Needless to say, the car didn't have a USB port. I checked behind the dash and drilled a small hole for the install and plugged it in with a few clicks.

The product operates and supplies power, but generates EMI/RFI. Local radios, scanners, CB/HAMs and other radio equipment will pick up increased levels of static electricity when this device is powered on. I am not sure if this item is a defect or a design flaw.
