I almost bought one of these bits at Home Depot for $21. I decided to give Revain a try and found this set of 6 for half the price. I used them to finish the decorative paneling on my tiki bar. I spent about 3 hours directly with one of the bits and it still works. Super glad I got them. No problem.

Used a 3/8 round cutter to cut grooves in pool shelves. Only cut 3-24" grooves in four boards. It didn't affect the way the cut was made. If you try to remove the teflon pieces, it can be dangerous to spin at 25000 rpm and throw off teflon pieces.

I was looking for a countersink for a guitar pickguard I made and couldn't find it. I went and ordered one from Revain and as I read the reviews I remembered how crappy the hardware store countersinks are. I saw these bits and thought it was less than a countersink, I'll give it a try. Received them today and they work great. Very well made and sharp. I have several other uses for them. Good price great very good starter kit for beginners. Well packaged, beautiful tubes to keep the edges intact and minimize corrosion. They were sharp enough to cut a path through fairly old chair frame hickory, so logically fit for sensible use. The bad - as another reviewer pointed out, they produce a flat bottom cut, both Vee and Cove style. . as a result, how they are sharpened. not too noticeable on the bay, but you won't get a true V-shaped bottom, but you should.
