I purchased Yakima Landing Pads (#6) to attach my existing Yakima Control Towers and Crossbars to a new camper setup. There is no alternative if you want to remain compatible. They go perfectly with the old Control Towers. Installation was relatively easy. The main problem was that the screws included in the kit were not long enough to fit through the roof of the RV hull. Wanted to share my impressions about Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon 2012 (and Impreza up to 2012) installation. These landing pads are designed for use where there is access to the underside of the vehicle roof. They work great on RV hulls. The beauty of these bases, however, is that no matter what car you buy and what factory vehicle it comes with, you can install these bases and use any Yakima accessories you want.
