Description of πŸ•―οΈ Vibrant Lavender: Yaley Concentrated Candle Dye Blocks, Highly Potent & Long-lasting, 0.75-Ounce

After your wax is completely melted; shave some of the dye blocks into the melted wax and stir well. To get an idea of the color concentration; place a few drops of wax onto a piece of white paper. The wax will immediately set up and give you an idea of the color of your candle. You can add more dye to reach your desired color. These are not for use with gel wax.

Lovely Scent and Strong Concentration

As a result of my tests, I determined that this candle scent was strong and long-lasting, filling my home with a calming lavender aroma. The concentrated formula also meant that I could use less product and still achieve the desired scent intensity.

Pros
  • Strong scent, long-lasting, concentrated formula.
Cons
  • None that I can think of!

Lovely Lavender

I added a quarter block (shaved) to 5 cups of soy wax and made three beautiful 8 oz. lavender candles. My favorite color is cool lavender; not too warm, but not too blue either. This gives a wonderful colour. As the candles burn and the wax melts, it becomes a translucent purple, like a gemstone.

Pros
  • Candle Making
Cons
  • No Instructions

Not my favorite

The least favorite dye blocks I've ever used. They are too thick and don't melt well. Blocks are difficult to machine/cut. And the pigmentation is very muted/dull, not at all bright and not luminous. Much better than Candle Science Colored Wafers or Colored Chips from Maple Street Candle Makers of Lexington, Kentucky.

Pros
  • Dyes
Cons
  • Expensive
