Yamaha quality is always first class.

This integrated amplifier was purchased to replace an old Carver Corporation receiver, actually their first model. Although it still worked and was heavy, I rebuilt my stereo. Yamaha impresses with build quality and classic looks. He's strong, so raise with both hands! This affordable connection meets all my listening needs. Everything about this amp is great!

This is my first real experience of what I call "Hi-End Hi-Fi". I bought this amp because it was in my "lower budget". When you get into hi-fi and realize that the thousands of dollars people are spending on each individual component really add up, I wanted to start my system with a reliable amplifier that will lay the foundation for expansion and upgrades for years to come be! First of all I have to say that this amp sounds amazing and the design looks very simple. Don't let that fool you! The

Why I really like Yamaha A-S801

I have had a Yamaha R-9 receiver for over 30 years. At the end of last year I decided to change speakers. After attending a hi-fi show and listening to a few sets I settled on a pair of Rogers LS3/5A speakers. While they sounded good through the R-9, they didn't sound as good as I thought they should.
