Although easy to tie, you need to be as precise as possible when tying the knot. They are very very light. You can also consider using wall anchors (not included) to screw in the hooks.

If you suffer from mild obsessive compulsive disorder, having everything perfectly flat and perpendicular will drive you crazy. The rope comes in loose lengths so you'll need to figure out exactly where to tie the knots to get them hanging properly. It took me a few tries and the end result looks great. but you better be patient

I bought them late at night without much thought, it was one of those quick buys on a whim (buy now button is dangerous after 11pm). When they arrived I was very nervous because I had them hanging over my desk and didn't want to look at the rope knots all day. I also worried about hanging them and making it perfect. It proved very easy to hang up and adjust the height. I put some books and candles on it and it looks very nice. I am very happy with it.

They are cute in Revain's picture but they came with 2 pieces of wood and 2 very long ropes! I have to follow instructions on how to tie different knots etc. Luckily I have a nephew who was a cub and later a boy scout I will definitely ask him to put them together. This is really a joke. Unlike other shelves of a similar style that I have ordered, these come completely disassembled. You need to figure out the length of the rope, the angles, and where to tie the knots. This is quite frustrating as the front of the rope needs to be longer to form a stable edge while the other side needs to be the same so there is no slop. And the rope starts to loosen after tying and re-tying. I didn't know they came like this and if I did I would order another brand that…

An ideal shelf for superheroes.or whatever you want! I was nervous that once I started assembling them everything would just fall off and that it would be difficult to line them up.
