🌿 Yardley London Hand Soap - English Lavender - 8.4 oz - 2 pk: Gentle Cleansing for Soft and Fragrant Hands Review

I was very surprised by the smell of this product considering it's a Yardley Lavender! That's why I bought it. It lathers well but smells awful. I threw it away I hated the smell so much. Even the plastic bottle was ugly.

I grew up using Yardley Lavender soap in England. Nothing like that. It doesn't have the lavender smell that I'm familiar with, it's just awful, cloying, sweet and sticky on my hands. The canister with the pump is very cheaply made, a simple cheap pump, with no substance on the canister body. Weak - but I could live with that - no soap.

This soap is not as shown but comes in a bottle with a round top. I liked this soap better than the same brand soap from another seller because this time I really smell the lavender. It's not as strong as Yardley's have been in years past, but at least it's a subtly scented lavender soap.

I bought this soap because I wanted a good lavender soap at an affordable price. So far I've been very happy with the quality. The smell is present but not overpowering. It does not smell of industrial production and has no lingering chemical odor. One has already passed, nice to hold in your hands. The application did not lead to dry hands. I would buy it again and recommend it.
