I have to admit. I was fooled by the fact that I got an ice cream scoop that had a trigger and made nice round ice cream scoops. For the first time I noticed how small he was. I bought this scoop because it had a trigger that would help you get food out of the scoop without using another tool. I like to use it when making cookies and cookies. However, cleaning behind the trigger can be a problem. Since the trigger fits snugly against the scoop (for obvious reasons), it's difficult to find something thin enough to get food out of the trigger. Otherwise an excellent product.

This ice cream scoop is very big and easy to use. It is very durable as it is made of stainless steel. Cooling ice cream is easy to scoop, for some reason the handle doesn't cool down! It forms the perfect ball of ice cream like in an ice cream shop. Thanks to the shovel release, there is also no need to laboriously remove the ice from the shovel. Overall, it made scooping the cream easier and made the perfect cone. I also thought it was great for scooping up my watermelon and melon!

I wasn't sure how it would end up considering there were both good and bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. It's the perfect weight, looks like it's 100% stainless steel, and the little eject button works great. I also like that the balls are slightly smaller than average. It fills the cone better. As it looks, I'm thrilled and can only recommend it. If it ends up rusting, I'll come back and check again. I won't wash it in the dishwasher so I hope it holds up well. So far, so good!
