Has a nice sheen and an ideal viscosity for calligraphy

Has a slight earthy odor which some people may not like but is not overly objectionable. For those unsure, I have a very sensitive and irritable nose and can use this ink. Excellent for calligraphy, it has a very pleasant sheen and viscosity.

Still bleeding

ok. Nothing special. I was hoping it would bleed less than Moon Palace on my training sheet, but this is worse. If you're in the same boat as me, try adding gum arabic to your sumi to stop the bleeding. For practice I use HP 32# Laser Jet paper and for calligraphy I use a calligraphic pen.

I have many different types of inks at home but I have never used them so I decided to give it a try. I've been very happy with them (wish I'd bought more!) and have used them in brush pens as well as calligraphy and drawing nibs. The color is rich, deep black and the ink itself is very smooth and spreads beautifully. And yes, it leaves a nice feeling on the…
