When I first got this it was amazing. Unfortunately, after about 6 months it no longer flows smoothly. There are too many air bubbles and the sand doesn't fall unless I tap it or tilt it, making it considerably less comforting and thus defeating the purpose. Very disappointed that there is no hotspot to inject a syringe with more water into an item.

Very satisfied with this product. It's nice and the air/water distribution is just right. My only complaint is that the kit didn't come with a syringe to add/reduce the amount of air and/or water at a later date if needed. It is glassy and appears a little cloudy when the sun hits it. This is the largest sand painting product I have found in this price range and overall I am very satisfied.

I bought this for my mother who has dementia. She's restless, and things like this are a great way to get her attention and keep her busy. Coloring is too difficult for her, too many color choices etc. It makes her feel like she is looking at the picture and being an artist herself. It was well packaged and was in perfect condition. The air bubbles are great and when I shake it it helps regulate the movement of the sand very slowly. mom loves it.

Media could not be loaded. I first saw sand art in the 1970's when I was a teenager. I loved it then and always wanted it, but couldn't afford it until now. I have to say they are of the highest quality and very relaxing to look at. In fact, I first ordered 4 because of the great reviews and then ordered 5 more as Christmas gifts!
