Overpriced Antenna Fails to Deliver

This wireless hotspot antenna is a complete waste of money, designed to rip you off. It promised to boost my internet signal, but it's just a weak attachment to my router. The only positive aspect of the antenna is that it's easy to install. However, it doesn't provide any significant improvement in signal strength or speed. Don't waste your money on networking products that promise too much and underdeliver. Stick to reliable computers and established router brands instead.

WARNING MAJOR SECURITY FAILURE

The product was easy to set up, but after connecting to the network I ran a port scan to look for vulnerabilities. Two issues make this modem/router very dangerous1) although HTTP (port 80) is closed on the WAN, the HTTPS port (433) is open and I could not close or block it. 2) There is a published root account and password, and the user cannot change the password according to the provider (see the answer to the question on page 4). The user can only change the password of the administratorโ€ฆ

This device works on the Verizon Wireless network!

It took me several visits to find the right person at Verizon Wireless (VZW) to help me set up a Yeacomm 4G LTE CPE router on the VZW network. First, VZW's Customer Service Representative (CSR) tried to scan the IMEI; it said "This device is not compatible with our network." Instead, CSR activated the SIM card in one of their jetpacks, moved it to my device, and waited for the blue up and down arrows to appear indicating this that they had received a VZW signal. We couldn't get the device toโ€ฆ
