Often just doesn't work anymore

We have 20 T58A with these adapters. They work for a while, they just stop answering calls or the client can't hear you, etc. If you unplug them from the USB port for a while and then plug them back in, they work for a couple of hours. Rinse off and repeat throughout the day!

Pros
  • Well done
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Phone accessory distorted sound

Purchased for Jabra 920Pro and Yealink T48s - should work according to all info on this product but the sound is horribly distorted. I sent the first one back thinking it was defective only to find the second one did the same. Asked a question on amazon, went to yealink on facebook and searched the internet for a solution, but came up with nothing. If my headset doesn't work, the phone will also be returned.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Weak kit

Works with Sennheiser SDW5015 and Yealink t42s

Tried the EHS36 adapter for my T42s and Sennheiser SDW 5015 first. While this combination worked, there was a slight echo of my voice in my headset which was off-putting. I studied further and saw that EHS40 is recommended for this combination. It connects after 1 minute and the echo has been allowed. Much better than a lifter.

Pros
  • Plug and Play
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Sound quality degrades over time

I have a Plantronics Savi 8220 headset and it was connected to a Yealink T46S phone using a legacy EHS36 adapter and some cables. This worked fine, but when the EHS40 came out it looked like the best solution as there was now only a USB connection to connect to the phone. It's much cleaner and easier to install, and end-users don't make mistakes when plugging in a headset. Problems started fairly soon after replacing the EHS36, with users complaining of crackling audio. When you disconnect and…

Pros
  • Compatible with Jabra Plantronics wireless headsets
Cons
  • High price
