🔌 Yellow Jacket 827362 Outdoor Power Adapter - 15-Amp with 5 Outlets Review

This is a good design for running multiple extensions to set up temporary workstations in a room. I run a heavy duty extension cord rated at 15 amps from an outlet powered by a 20 amp circuit breaker to power this unit and then smaller extension cords from the unit to hand tools. I prefer this design over the typical built-in extension for this application.

I was looking for a multi-socket product for my garden. . This seemed sufficient until I tried installing it in an external outlet. The lip sticking out from under the connector pins is too long and I couldn't plug it into a backyard outlet. It cut off easily after I tried to rip it off. Once the lip was gone I had no problem getting it onto the rosette outside.

Real reset button works really well! The whole device is waterproof and can work with a lot of power. We have three 150 watt heaters and a water heater. He still feeds everything. It's also similar to the GFCI switch: something was wrong with one of the light blocks and the reset button continued to work until we figured out what was wrong. Saved us from replacing the fuse in the fuse box!

However, I decided I wanted to put it on a timer and ran into an issue with a bulge under the plug-in port. I'm not sure what that lip is for, but it prevents the plug from being inserted into the timer. This was the best solution I could find for the price to use in an outdoor cart I built using an extension cord. Overall I am satisfied with the item. Reading other photos, reviews and questions I was unable to see the back of the item to determine if it had mounting holes. Unfortunately, I don't see anywhere where this is the case. I had another model of this product from Yellow Bee. The case was made of softer plastic that could withstand drops and bumps. It's a harder plastic and I'm not sure it will be that strong.
