Worth the Risk for Sewing

I chose this foot because it cost 4 times the original part. I made an entire quilt out of it and had no problems with it breaking like other reviewers. Installation was easy and I am very happy with the result.

No idea how without!

For many years I have struggled with the movement of fabrics as I run them through the machine. Frustration and many other explanations come to mind. As for why I didn't look for an easier way, I can't. I preferred the open foot version to the closed foot version because I like to see clearly where I'm sewing. Leg markings are great! No more mismatched layers of fabric. What stopped me so much? God knows!

Pros
  • Unique open toe design for better visibility when quilting and assembling.
Cons
  • I don't remember.

Good value for money. Suitable for my brother CS5055PRW!

This walking foot goes well with my Brother CS5055PRW! I believe the reason for this is that it is modeled after the original Brother SA188 foot (which Brother sells for $50! Expensive). The problem for me with the regular presser foot was that it would get caught in the racks and I had to pull out the knitting material by hand. However, this foot is modeled after the SA188, so while it is "universal" it fits because it is modeled after the original foot. Feeds fabriv well. Even knitwear. I…
