🎥 YiePhiot Dash Cam Extension Cord Rear View Mirror Camera Recorder Cable (6.5ft / 2m, 4-pin) Review

Just what I needed to get to the front of my van and hook up a backup camera to my stereo. The picture quality has not changed and works perfectly.

This cable was good quality and worked great with my backup camera. I didn't notice any degradation in the camera signal when the cable was extended to this length.

I bought a DVR/backup camera a few months ago and it has been a while before I was able to install a backup camera on my Ram 1500. I bought a longer cable from the DVR manufacturer, but with the cab extended, I still found it a few feet from the rear bumper. This cable was the perfect product, was very affordable and only added the extra length needed.

Before installing the extension cord, the camera worked fine, after installation, the camera was faulty, the screen flickered, sometimes the image disappeared. I removed the extension and the above inconsistencies stopped. I don't know if the cable is bad or if the camera doesn't care about the extension cable.

I paid about $6 for this 6.5ft extension cable because the original cable that came with the VTOP dash cam was 3rd generation foot shorter for my tiny drop down car on horseback. Used tape to secure the 4 pin connector. Tested and double checked before installation. Worked perfectly, both this extension cord and the DVR. Can't expect more for this price.

My rear view camera was installed and worked for several days. I bought this extender to move my monitor and it didn't work. After removing the extension I now have a non-functional camera. This messed up the original cable connections or damaged the camera. VERY TERRIBLE! I cannot recommend this product at all!
