I have a tall 8 year old. I ordered this at 9-10 based on the size chart. I wanted him to have a place to grow and he could use it for more than one season. The design of the cloak is very cute and my son loves it as he is a big fan of dinosaurs. He also likes the soft inside of the coat (fleece lined). So I bought this jacket for my 8 year old son. It was too small so I had to return it and take a size 12 and he is a size 8. The jacket is a bit thin so I wanted to be able to wear a sweater underneath. Also the velcro on the hood is broken so he can't keep his hood on it, it comes with the same piece on both sides so it doesn't fasten which is annoying. Cool design but on a jacket.

This is a necessary item! It is true to size but has little room to grow, the material is durable and washes and dries well. The outside dinosaur pattern is too cute, the colors are so bright, the inside is soft, warm and cozy and it really keeps the rain out. I like that the hood can be removed on non-rainy but chilly days in the park. Our 4 year old loves it and wears it everywhere! Highly recommended!

I got this for our 4 year old to have a light jacket for school when he attends morning classes and we are between cool spring and warm mornings. I wanted him to have something lighter than his down jacket but still keep him warm. It was a good choice for us as he uses it quite often. Most mornings when I know it's getting a little warmer or the wind isn't blowing that hard, I wear it with long sleeves. The interior is lined with a lightweight fleece that I think works well with long sleeves on

My son is 5 years old, 45 lbs, about 45. He usually wears a medium size 7 or 8. I would definitely order a size 8 or medium coat for him, but as I would like to wear a light fleece jacket underneath I would would like to increase 1 more size to make sure it has enough space and growth. I got this at 9-10 after following the size chart with my reasoning and I had to go 2 sizes up instead. If I don't want to layer or have room to grow, a 9-10 would probably be fine because it's quite long, but…

I got this for my son and he is obsessed. From the dinosaur print to the soft interior, and most importantly, it's definitely waterproof. My son loves jumping in puddles and running in the rain so trust me it's been tested!

My daughter loves this jacket very much. It is soft on the inside and protects perfectly in rainy weather. Works true to size and pattern in nice color. Highly recommended!

My son has only used it once and it seems to work great in the rain. It's water-resistant, doesn't add bulk and we really like the bright colors and patterns. However, the zipper appears to have been sewn to the back, so it constantly gets stuck both when zipping shut and when opening. It's annoying.

This jacket is EPIC and amazing! My son looks great in it and the colors are really cool. That's my feedback. he is so warm in it and he loves it.

Very nice. Fit more than I thought. Some threads were thin and stretched, but it's not scary. Left over after I cut them off. Soft inside. Adjustable below. Appears to be waterproof but I don't think it's waterproof. Overall a worthwhile purchase.

This is probably the best jacket I've ever ordered from Amazon. Such a great material. It's thick, water-resistant and has kept my daughter warm. It fits perfectly. It has a zipper and velcro closures. The cat and umbrella design is adorable!

This jacket is great for the price! Our little guy loved the compass too and it was a great learning moment. He looks forward to telling us the direction we are going and he asks me which direction we are going if we leave the house now. Very cool! (and the jacket is nice and warm)

My grandson loves his dinosaur jacket and wants to wear it every time we go out. He finds it easy to put on and fasten everything himself. Would highly recommend to your dinosaur lover.

I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter, she absolutely loves this jacket. It's cute and perfect for the transition between fall and winter. The inner material is a fleece lining and the outside is a nice weatherproof material instead of plastic.

love this coat. It is so sweet. The cat design on it is adorable and my daughter loves it. I have her normal size based on the chart and she fits perfectly with room to grow. I will say that the only annoying thing about this coat is the fleece lining in the sleeves. it's great for keeping them warm, but it makes it difficult to get your hands in the coat because it rips their shirts and gets snagged along the way. otherwise it's great.

My son just LOVES this jacket, he felt so cool and couldn't believe there was a compass on it. This jacket is so well made and very cute! The hood is detachable (zip and zip) and the color is great, it suits him very well. Highly recommended!

I ordered two of these for my daughters for a trip to Ireland with the intention of having a fleece in them! He expected that. and one came with no fleece lining in it... had to buy another one. Will return. 3 stars because the other one received had the fleece and it fits well.

I love the product and got one for each of my children; all different sizes and colors. The one I bought for my eldest is good as the others but all the zippers on the jacket get stuck and difficult to move. My boy had a hard time buttoning his jacket on his own. I'm afraid it will break soon.

My son loves this jacket. Especially the compass on the sleeve. It's lightweight and water-resistant. Nice light print. Excellent reflectors on the bottom and around the zips. Unfortunately, he's a bit small, so he'll only get the rest of this season from him.
