I had high hopes for these crayons but they just aren't suitable for diamond painting. You need to keep sharpening the pencil so the tip is the right size to pick up the pieces.

Works very well the first time you sharpen it, but the wax tip wears out very quickly and requires frequent sharpening. Drill adjustment or movement must be done with another tool.

I ordered these because I was tired of my AB Diamonds pulling pink wax out of my pens. I also ordered a brand new, high-quality Staedtler pencil sharpener. and the tip broke in the sharpener. I can't clean my sharpener and now I have a brand new useless sharpener for my new useless crayons. Strange. the seller had to indicate the type of sharpener needed for sharpening. The wax sticks do not feel well made and are very brittle/crumbly.
