10 " Lift Coupler - Ball Joints

Very Heavy Duty. However, the locks were "sticky"! I had to use WD40 to loosen them to allow the locking member to loosen and separate from the stem Then put a few drops of oil in each one and they are now working fine.

Pros
  • Very Good Value
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Good unit. to tow products and winches

I bought this hitch for a Promaster city van so I could easily work between two trailers. Beautiful unit well finished. Looks good and works well. I wish the pins were the same but that could be either a plus or a minus. Nicely packaged.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some cons

Absolute junk in External Accessories

Bolt sheared off for the second time! Fallen boat and trailer. I'm so angry I'm at a loss for words. I had to pull over to the curb and switch to our other hitch, which thankfully we didn't get rid of. This is a failure and will cost you so much money it's not even close.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not the best

Buy better hardware

Didn't fit I had to grind the corners and when I fitted the locks they wouldn't open due to faulty hardware. As a result, I had to cut the locks with a metal grinder. New locks cost me $60. I just should have bought a better package from another company because I ended up spending about $300 to put everything in it.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

DO NOT BUY! Attention buyers, beware!

Bought for a new truck I ordered. I used it the day after the 30 day return window was over. 2 5/16 inch ball came off while towing boat with 2 inch ball inverted. If this happened while towing a horse or implement trailer with a 2 5/16 bullet. . . this could have killed someone as the trailer would have become detached from the hitch. DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly dented

OK quality. Doesn't fit very well

I liked the quality of the hitch and the locks seem fine. I wish the locks were the same but they are not. My receiver has a 2" insert. There are two holes in the clutch but I was only able to use one. Large machine radius between the horizontal and vertical clutch legs preventing the clutch from slipping far enough to utilize the second hole and to improve clipping I also have an anti-rattle clamp that I can no longer use due to this fit.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • -

It looks like it could be a decent hitch but the locks certainly don't add to the sense of security. . It appears that the ball bearing is the only mechanism holding a multi-ton trailer on your truck. I blocked it and it slipped off once. Of course, this is not a fault-tolerant system. I wrote this review within an hour of receiving the product and attempting to install it to my satisfaction. The product they sent me was rusty in key places, chipped, scratched and looked well used and installed

  • car
Cons
  • Slightly torn

When buying, make sure it is assembled correctly!

The hitch appeared to be in good condition on arrival but on first use towed a small cargo trailer, total weight on a 2" ball did not exceed 3,000lbs. After about 30 miles I stopped to check the trailer and hitch as they are brand new to make sure everything was fine. The 2 5/16 inch ball was found to be falling out and the 2 inch ball was loose. I had to unhitch the trailer, drive 30 miles into town, and buy a new hitch to get home. Upon investigation, I found that the set screw for both balls

Pros
  • Tow and winch accessories
Cons
  • I don't remember

TERRIBLE! Haven't even gotten to the truck yet

I took this out of the box and noticed at a glance that the machining isn't as precise as CNC. It literally looks like some of them were made with a belt sander or an angle grinder. I put the two pieces together and the hitch slipped 3/4 of the way off the holder and got stuck. Now it doesn't move, I knocked it off with a soft rubber mallet but to no avail. There is a note in the "Call if you have problems before returning" box. I called twice, no one answered, message in broken english. Revain
