Very very small! The plate that comes up is not aligned. Stunning, not enough power. It has a microscopic screw that should hold the plate in place. Well it's a joke! Don't waste money. Unfortunately my grandson wants to keep it. It was a birthday present that he cannot use. What a waste!

Our son got it for his 8th birthday. It definitely has enough power to make nice little pieces, the key word is "a little". He had no problem slowing down while sculpting from what we've read from others. A bit for the small size, but a good start to see if you like it before investing in something bigger.

Works well. The plate is smaller than some others I've seen but has some power to get the job done. The more pressure, the more the plates naturally stop. So it's nothing but centering the full-size sound. You have to adapt to different methods and tools. Received this after eBay delayed shipping and I received it within a week of ordering. I'm still waiting for my second so I don't have a comparison yet.

Arrived early and works great. Turn it on and go. The tools that come with it are the ones I already had, but that's a nice bonus. Most of them are the ones I don't want to use with such a small wheel. You have to adjust your touch a lot. Especially with centering, otherwise the wheel will stop. Although it is possible! Edit: This wheel confused me. My theory is that I used too much water and it got into the car and killed it.

I think the wheel is well made, strong and powerful. The feet on the bottom can be screwed on for leveling. The problem is most likely that there is a serious learning curve with pottery and I have absolutely no experience. I also think it absolutely needs to be leveled. I don't think I know enough to know if my uneven surfaces and feet need leveling or if the different wheels might not be level. Basically what I signed up for for $80. It works. It's functional. It has 3 wheels instead of 2. (My #1 cool thing about it.) I bought it thinking I might replace it later.
