Clear sound, good quality.

Very impressed so far. The sound quality is fantastic; very clearly. I have to turn the volume up a little louder than when listening to a CD, but that doesn't really matter. I drive a 2007 Honda Odyssey and with the help of YouTube I installed this in less than 30 minutes. I had a moment of panic after putting everything back together, pressed AUX and there was no sound. Pressing this button again will show CD4 (see image) which needs to be enabled for audio from iPhone. I also used an AUX…

Has stopped working after 2 months

I installed this on my 2007 Honda Accord which was difficult mainly as there are many parts to remove to access the connector in my radio. I bought a splitter cable that allowed me to connect this cable as well as my CD player. For a month and a half everything worked fabulously, then this cable just died and stopped working. I ruled out the splitter cable as a problem by unplugging it and plugging it directly into my radio. It still didn't work and the green light to show it was on didn't come

Never go to BestBuy. DIY

5 years ago BestBuy installed an adapter for my 03 Accord Coupe. When I say they traveled all over the world to get my iPod working, I don't think that's literal enough. Added cable. Added a switch (that controls the FM transmitter to eliminate interference), an odd looking connector (no extra 3mm jack) that went to the bottom of the iPod (connector to charge the dock) - no other (iPhone, Android) could not connect - added, added box with extra cables. Terrible. The port in question eventually…

Fits NAVI Stereo

Just installed this today on my 2006 Honda Accord EX with NAVI setup and CD changer. Here are my thoughts; There are good videos on YouTube on how to disassemble the console and dashboard. You need to remove the top center and pull out the NAVI console all the way so you can see the entire back of the stereo. The above step was a breeze and the entire installation only took 30 minutes. If you want the CD player to continue working, you must order a Y adapter at the same time. I did NOT use any…

Does what it says on the box

Installed on a 2006 Honda CRV and it works as advertised. You will need to order a splitter if you wish to use the CD changer which must be included. The sound quality is good, nothing special. I cut it out and had to turn the device off and on to get it working again, so I'll update this review in a few months to know more about its long-term quality. As mentioned, you cannot charge your phone at the same time. time without feedback. I have a feedback isolator that solved this problem, but it…

Product works well but with some limitations

I bought this product and it works reliably and is easy to install if you follow the instructions on youtube to eject the power off radio for honda fit 2007. It's all plug and play. The downside is that it's not made in this country and you can't talk hands-free through your car radio. I used to build my own following the instructions below, posted it online and it worked reasonably well. The problem with the unit I made was that the aux adapter didn't fit the plug very well and had to…

Works great in a 2004 Honda Accord EX 6 CD

Product works as advertised. I bought an add on version with a gold plated 3.5mm audio jack on the end. Haven't bought any other models. Follow a YouTube video on how to take out the stereo, which is easy enough. Unfortunately, my connection was on the back of the stereo, which meant I had to remove the entire unit. This added a little extra time but is still pretty easy to do. Then I pulled out the factory-connected white one and installed the purchased adapter. He is heard "falling in place".

Pros
  • If the CD changer port is occupied by another you will also need a Y-cable (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EUZ8SY0)
Cons
  • Does not work

Easy way to connect music streaming to your old car

While some of the negative reviews here may be legitimate, I suspect many of them are down to user error or misunderstanding rather than a product issue. I installed this with relative ease and so far it has had great sound with no issues. First, write down exactly which product you will receive. There are 3 versions, one with only a 3.5mm jack (which is what I ordered), one also with a USB charging port and one with a lightning port. The product (and Revain) says not to charge and play music…

Pros
  • Some radio models have an original factory anti-theft system. When you install this adapter, you need to input a password when you switch between FM and AUX mode.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
