Easy way to connect music streaming to your old car

While some of the negative reviews here may be legitimate, I suspect many of them are down to user error or misunderstanding rather than a product issue. I installed this with relative ease and so far it has had great sound with no issues. First, write down exactly which product you will receive. There are 3 versions, one with only a 3.5mm jack (which is what I ordered), one also with a USB charging port and one with a lightning port. The product (and Revain) says not to charge and play music at the same time (so probably some people had sound issues). But if you install and use it properly, it should work just fine. Two other things to note: 1) If you have a case on your phone or device, you should probably get a slim adapter so you don't have to take the case off. . The 3.5mm jack on this product is not thin and will not fit in most cases. I ordered this adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074S15X7W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and the sound is still great. You have to remove part of the dashboard to hide behind the radio (watch any number of YouTube videos, how it works). If you have a rear entertainment system that's already connected to the white connector behind the radio (we don't), but if you install and use it properly, it should work just fine. Pros
  • Some radio models have an original factory anti-theft system. When you install this adapter, you need to input a password when you switch between FM and AUX mode.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
