But works. suitable for vacuum cleaner

I use this as a barrier for the Shark IQ robot vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner itself works just as well as my Roomba which cost 2 1/2 times the price but broke after 3 years. This magstripe shark barrier works well enough but looks crumbly and I really don't want to put it on and pick it up every time I vacuum. The infrared barriers (I think) that Roomba uses are superior to this method because they're out of sight, out of mind (by comparison) and the batteries last for many months. "So…

Works but ugly

The stripe is dark brown although uneven along the length of the stripe. The color change is noticeable up close, but not on the ground. It's beveled on both sides so there's no tripping hazard, probably all border signs are made that way, but it's the first thing that caught my eye and it's the only one I've ever bought. Shark IQ Self Empty "Stuck on Magnetic Border "

The listing says our model should work with these strips but experience says otherwise. For those who have Roomba, your model isn't listed, and I'm not sure why people think it will work - Roomba operates on a completely different edge system, using lasers instead of magnetic strips. Not at all what I expected!

This is a thin magnetic stripe that works pretty well depending on your needs.1. I have Roomba and Shark IQ robots and they work pretty well with the Shark but not so much with the Roomba. It's funny because it worked fine the first day, but after a week Roomba kept failing.2. If you put it under a rug, it may fail.
