I use this as a barrier for the Shark IQ robot vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner itself works just as well as my Roomba which cost 2 1/2 times the price but broke after 3 years. This magstripe shark barrier works well enough but looks crumbly and I really don't want to put it on and pick it up every time I vacuum. The infrared barriers (I think) that Roomba uses are superior to this method because they're out of sight, out of mind (by comparison) and the batteries last for many months.
