Good value for money

Appears to be good value for money. Passed the edge on an 80ft 1X6 base with no problems. Small chatter, but nothing that can be easily polished away. I don't use the router that often so it was reasonably priced and gave me the performance I expected.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

I think it's good.

Cuts as cleanly and precisely as its much more expensive Freud counterpart. I can't say how long they stay sharp as I don't use them that often. Maybe that's Freud's advantage, I'm not sure. But for the occasional hobby carpenter, I think that's fine.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord shorter than others

Good quality at a reasonable price

I am an experienced hobby carpenter. Most of my new routers are Yonico now. I am very lucky with them. This punch is no different. Fast feed, perfectly balanced and quite sharp so it cuts clean. For my use they hold up well and are a surprisingly good deal. I recommend buying 1/2" shank bits from any brand whenever possible, but in my experience smaller Yonico shank bits work just fine.

Pros
  • Decent performance
