Blunt blade for drill

Despite the cheap price, the performance was below average. The blade was dull and could not cut wood without heating and burning it. Tried to carve a round mahogany and had to give up. I will not buy this brand again. Maybe the steel is bad.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Won't drill a clean hole

I bought this to poke holes in nice soft, well dried cedar stakes. The chisel does not drill a clean hole - it dangles and severely attacks the wood. I think I got what I paid for. A real forstner bit costs more but will drill the perfect hole - I think you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works best with power and hand tools

I bought this because I needed a custom sized drill bit. 1 1/2" was too small and 1 3/4" was too big specifically for inserting K-cups into the drilled holes. I bought this just before Christmas to finish this coaster as a Christmas gift project. I used it in a drill and it worked well, moving slowly and carefully and waiting for the drill to cool before drilling another hole. As you can see the hole is just the right size for a K cup. I intend to do more of these.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
