Suitable for chipboard

Definitely not very sharp. All I needed was something to poke a few holes in my cheap desk and it did the job, but barely. If you need it for a real tree I'd look elsewhere, but if you only plan on using it once or twice then it's fine.

Pros
  • Made from HSS for quality and durability
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Not sharp and jams drill

Not sharp at all and only drills 3/4 layers. It literally stops my big drill press. I did it slowly and picked up the unselected one, let it cool and cleaned out the debris, but it just doesn't cut through after a few tries. It's clearly not spicy in any way.

Pros
  • Drills clean and accurate holes in solid wood, plywood and MDF
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Waste of money on power tool parts and accessories

I bought a forstner bit to drill a few holes in a piece of wood to decorate a dining table. I only needed 5 1/2" deep holes to put the small candles in and on the 5th hole the drill bit was very boring and I was barely done making the holes. Now I have to make another one and need to buy another drill bit to complete this.

Pros
  • 3/8" shank compatible with all standard drill bits and drill chucks
Cons
  • unreliable
