Firstly I would definitely not use this on babies. I bought it to hold a small dog and it doesn't work for that either. It can't get close enough to the ground that there isn't a 2-3 inch gap for the dog to crawl under because the fabric just pushes up. It's kinda useless because now I have to block gaps with supply bins and can't use the door. I plan on getting the pool noodles when they're restocked for the summer to pop in the gap. I'll update if this is a suitable solution.

The installation was strange for our room (the reshaping or the door frame is difficult), but I managed to install it. It is easy to use and lockable so it cannot be opened. I like that it rolls to the side when we walk through the door. Our dogs are currently isolated in our bedroom but they love being able to see and hear us so we take advantage of this so we don't have to close the door to keep them inside. This product *should* be assembled in ten minutes. And it lasted almost an hour. It required MUCH more external tools than advertised. Instructions were LITTLE if any. And the best thing is that it includes pilot holes (a stencil I think) which initially made you like: "WOW! IT'S PERFECT!" Well NOT when the holes do NOT match the parts and don't match the gate itself. Not to mention actually snapping the gate in place when it was finally done was a NIGHTMARE.
