I used this for a portable dvd player in the car and it took 2 people to install the dvd player on the bracket and I had Fear of it must have been broken.

Doesn't fit my portable DVD player. I had to fix the player with straps on the headrest. Difficult to attach to the headrest. Doesn't tilt or swivel much so it can sit in the middle seat.

Not for DVD players. Our players are Insignia brand and do NOT work. The only thing I had was a tablet. The connection between the two works also scared me. If they were better connected I might have kept it. Too weak a link to worry about retention.

Works for what I need. Holds my daughter's DVD player on the back of the seat. I tried others but they broke from the weight. This one worked much better. But the DVD mount is smaller than others I've bought and the mount doesn't snap into the mount very securely. It can be scary when it falls on your child. However, it works.

I don't like it because it's perfect. It's not like this. but it's the best there is. You almost got it right. It matches the wider width of my 2007 Honda Pilot.2. Extending to the viewer is a great idea, but it fails. It can be 2-3 inches and doesn't clear the seat, meaning all the up and down adjustment effort is completely lost. too bad.
