Bought 2 of these. They are programming hell. But don't worry because after six months they will fail. Just charged the batteries in both and two days later both were defective. These things are just excrement.

Originally gave 1 star but increased it to 3, the product is fine and the seller sent new instructions which were much easier to read for installation. Make sure you get them if you are confused. The product still doesn't fit very securely and looks a bit "cheap" but works decently.

I needed this for a window that is mounted high in our living room where there is no easy access to electricity. The battery is charged via a 6ft mini USB cable that only needs to be charged occasionally depending on the number of cycles. Installation is similar to conventional blinds. Blinds in such a way that they can fall out if the blinds are tilted too much during assembly. This actually happened to me and the device was superficially damaged but still worked as advertised.

First the blinds. They look quite flimsy and far less attractive than the product image on the Revain website. Guarantee 6 months. Blinds came with no installation instructions.
